  10. THE SHORT DOCUMENTATION - THE ONLY DOCUMENTATION

  12.        This is release 5.0 of The Wall, a message-type bulletin board door for
  13. Red Ryder Host, WWIV, and Mansion bulletin board systems. In this release, I
  14. have rewritten roughly 50% of the code, changed the format somewhat, and have
  15. removed the offensive "UNREGISTERED" messages altogether.

  17.        The Wall is now a non-linear one-line message door. You can input
  18. messages, read forward or backwards, and read new messages (yes, it works!).
  19.  
  20.        For the sysop, hit "S" within the program to edit messages and users.
  21. You have the choice of non-authorizing a user so they cannot post messages,
  22. and you can ban users who post offensive or vulgar messages.

  24.        To set up the Wall, follow these steps:

  26.           1.   Create a folder for the Wall data.
  27.           2.   Place the Wall application in the same path as your bbs.
  28.           3.   Copy the Wall support files to the data folder.
  29.           4.   Add the Wall as a door choice within the door.
  30.           5.   Launch the Wall from WITHIN YOUR BBS.
  31.           6.   Set the host bbs path, the data folder, and what application
  32.                you wish to quit to after running the Wall.
